Can I use my gas or wood appliance if the power is out to my home?
Your fireplace is designed to work when the power is out. The fan will not function but heat will radiate from the ceramic glass.
Can I install a TV above a gas or wood fireplace?
With new cool surface systems, it reduces the surface heat up to 71% to allow for TVs above your fireplace. You will still need to check with the manufacturer of your television.
Will a fireplace make my home more valuable?
Recent surveys have found that a fireplace is one of the top 3 amenities that prospective buyers look for in a house.
So not only will a fireplace increase resale value, but it will also bring more buyers to the door.
I don’t have natural gas but still want a fireplace. What are my options?
Nearly all of our gas units have the option to use either propane or natural gas. Local contractors have made the delivery and storage of propane on your property easy and worry free.
What kind of Green heating options are available?
Wood heat is considered carbon neutral as the carbon output of the wood is unchanged whether it is burned or rots in nature. Wood heat is one of the greenest sources of energy available. Modern wood-burning fireplaces today are often up to 75% efficient and meet all current EPA emissions. Gas fireplaces will be up to 80% efficient which will meet or exceed any new furnaces.
